I remember that day as the crowd spilled into the track to avoid crushing. Willie Bud Johnston came up to take a corner and I a nine year old was sitting just behind on the track. Bud picked me up and moved me,saying" give me a wee bit of space son" I thought he would be raging as he approached,as Rangers were 2-0 down, but he wasn't at all.
